BBC The One Show

Freddie Mercury’s mother, Jer Bulsara and sister, Kash Cooke, interviewed on The One Show by Chris Evans and Alex Jones, to mark Freddie’s 65th Birthday.. They were taken back to the house where they lived when the first came to England, which now bears a Blue Plaque, and talked about Freddie’s life in those days. Roger Taylor also appears in a short clip.

vruz: reblogged not so much for rock fanaticism, but for the very interesting social context in which Freddie was raised.

“The road ahead is not easy,” Palin warned supporters about the upcoming election. “You will be demonized. They’ll mock you. They’ll make things up. They’ll tell you to go to hell…we won’t say ‘No, you go to hell.’ We won’t say that.” [KGO]
