The GOP’s definition of “Class Warfare” is like their definition of “Clear Skies” or “No Child Left Behind”…Black is White, Up is Down, Right is Wrong…it’s just more of that famous Republican Doublespeak.

vruz: I disagree.  It is war, and it’s always been on. you’re only getting to feel it in the flesh recently.  it’s stupid to let the republicans victimise themselves and pretend nothing is happening.  it is war, and it’s always been against the weak and the poor.

it’s a war that only centrist moral relativism can decline to face.

Spineless ‘Centrist’ Move of People Who Appease Right Wing Nuts

Firebaggers should stop criticising the dear leader, at least the White House is showing signs of life, even if the invertebrate administration still doesn’t (can’t?) stand for anything at all.

Obama to make tax-the-wealthy push … and credit Warren Buffett

Remember how Warren Buffett  wrote that the government should raise the taxes of the super-wealthy … you know, folks like him? Well, it looks like someone with a lot of power to put that plan into action read that New York Times editorial. Obama’s going to make a push to tax the super-wealthy (those who make more than $1 million per year) at the same rate as the middle-class, and he’s calling it the “Buffett Rule.” Great selling point for Obama, but will it be enough for all the other rich people in Congress? Good question. (photo via Medill DC) source
