vruz: never mind that atheists are only a 2% of the US population, and 7% are non-believers of some sort. even if we assumed that there’s an equal percentage of racist people in every demographic (something arbitrary, say 20% of all people are racists) that would mean that there’s less than 1.25M racist atheists in the US, compared to 25.4M christians. (42% of the US population are church-going christians of some denomination)
the only way you can somehow accuse atheists as a group for being more racist than anybody else is out of prejudice, wilful ignorance, malice, and the belief that christians are somehow above everybody else.
also, remember there’s never been an atheist KKK, and never a corporate atheist crusade in the middle east.
