every kid in Uruguay gets a XO laptop in primary school. it’s not about developing a big paternalistic state, but about building a rising tide that lifts all boats.
I consider myself a social anarchist with libertarian leanings and I don’t see a problem with this if it helps to craft a society with equal opportunity for all.
I can’t imagine what the next 10 years will be like.
