    smart-tart sez: The more I ponder this woman, the more I realize my problem is not that some pinhead former beauty queen spews nonsense like this, it’s that the media finds the sound of that one brain cell rolling around in her head to be more newsworthy that substantive discussions of healthcare, the economy, war x2, et cetera.

    vruz: you’re implying that news media are supposed to be informative or able to provide insightful commentary of some sort, based on facts.  nothing more distant from the truth, they’re there to sell entertainment, and to advance corporate agendas. paraphrasing Bukowski….. anything else is romanticism, ignorance, or naiveté.
